What to Know Before You Ride
Helpful information to make your rental experience smooth, safe, and easy from start to finish.
I want to rent — what’s required of me?
To rent and operate a watercraft, you must:
- Provide a valid driver’s license
- Be at least 18 years old to rent
- Provide a credit card at checkout
What happens if the watercraft is damaged?
We strongly recommend purchasing optional renter’s insurance.
If insurance is purchased:
Most damages will be covered, with the exception of the deductible.
If insurance is not purchased:
You are fully responsible for all repair costs up to replacement value, including any third-party damages.
What age must I be to operate a watercraft?
- 16+ years old: No restrictions
- 14–15: Must have Idaho Boater Education Card
- 12–13: Must have card + adult supervision (18+)
How do I get certified?
You can obtain an Idaho Boater Education Card through approved online courses. We can guide you if needed.
What laws should I know?
- PFDs: Required for all riders on PWCs
- No wake: Under 5 mph within 100 ft of shore/docks
- Operating hours: No night riding without lights
- BUI: Illegal over 0.08 BAC
- Equipment: Must carry whistle/horn
What if weather affects my reservation?
We will work with you to reschedule to the next available time slot.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation are non-refundable.
What holidays affect availability?
Availability may vary on major holidays. Please book early during peak dates.

- Weekdays: Monday – Thursday
- Weekends: Friday – Sunday
